Another one bites the… sand…
Announced by a Tweet via the Prince of Persia‘s Twitter account, Ubisoft has decided to delay the Sands of Time Remake indefinitely. They’ve stated: “It is your passion and support that is driving our development teams to make the best game possible.”
The remake was announced back in September 2020 to some very mixed feedback. Fans were excited to see the beloved title return to their screens, especially with the returning performance from Yuri Lowenthal, however, it received backlash over its underwhelming graphical style. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake was originally slated for a January 2021 release, but was pushed back to March 2021 in December 2020. The announcement of this title’s delay comes after plenty of other anticipated coming titles also had their release dates pushed back to accommodate more development time.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 sometime in the future.
