Bugsnax Will Be A PlayStation 5 Launch Title

Those worried that the PlayStation 5 launch line-up was looking a little slim will be feeling happier than a Bunger in mud following the news that Young Horses’ adorable new title, Bugsnax, will be available to play same-day as the console drop. Announced on Thursday, the already-beloved game will also release on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC via the Epic Store November 12th. The game will be available at a bargain price too, at $24.99USD on all platforms, with a further 15% taken off if pre-ordered via Epic (currently $32.29AUD after discount).

Bugsnax will send players to Snaktooth Island, a mysterious place inhabited by the titular Bugsnax, on a quest to find missing explorer, Elizabert Megafig. Capturing and snacking on these feisty critters will allow players to customise themself and the other inhabitants of Snaktooth. No doubt you will recognise a few voices when interacting with the other characters, with Young Horses unveiling a killer line-up of veteran voice-actors brought on to bring the residents of Snaktooth Island and the Bugsnax to life. To adequately capture the chaotic charm of the game, all the actors recorded in the same room (pre-pandemic, of course), allowing everyone to play off each other.
