Spider-Man: Miles Morales Shows Off Gameplay in New Trailer

It’s a good time to be a Spider-Man fan

During this morning’s PlayStation 5 Showcase, we were treated to some good looking gameplay for the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales, along with the release date of November 12th – PlayStation 5 launch day.

Set a year after the events of 2018’s critically acclaimed Spider-Man title for PlayStation 4, the gameplay shows off Miles’ battles featuring a villain, the Tinkerer. During this battle, we get a glimpse of Miles’ powers, including his camouflage (set on a cooldown) and electrified web-shooters.

Sony also revealed after the showcase, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also able to be played on PlayStation 4 from November 12th, so those who miss out on a console on launch day can still enjoy this new addition to the Spider-Man narrative. They also announced Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition which includes a remastered version of the 2018 Spider-Man title, including all the new console bells and whistles, like character assets, ray-traced reflections, faster load times, and the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback.

Now, please excuse me while I boot up the original Spider-Man on my PlayStation 4…
