EA Play to Join Xbox Game Pass Later This Year

This is a LOT of bang for your buck

Xbox Game Pass, the subscription service that lets you play a HEAP of games for free (have you heard of it? You’ve heard of it) has announced they’re partnering with EA Play, adding over 60 new games to the subscription for your Xbox console and PC.

In case you’re unaware of the games EA Play offers, here’s some big titles:

  • FIFA 2020
  • Need for Speed series
  • Battlefield series
  • Mass Effect series
  • The Sims series
  • Plants v. Zombies
  • Anthem
  • Dragon Age series

This is BIG!

Xbox has stated on their blog some of features we can also expect from this union:

  • Exclusive in-game challenges and rewards, special member-only content, discounts on EA digital purchases for DLC, games, and more.
  • Access to trials of games for up to 10 hours from best-loved franchises and top titles like Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21.
  • Not only will EA Play titles be available on console and PC, this holiday, some of the best EA Play games will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud at no additional charge.

EA Play will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at the end of this year. If you’re looking at getting the next-generation consoles, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (Ultimate includes an Xbox Live subscription as well) is included with your Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles if you pay them off via an Xbox All Access plan.
