There’s something for everyone!
It’s a brand new month which means we’ve got four new free titles to download! Am I going to download them? Oof, I think that’s a hard no. I’m not sure where Microsoft is going in terms of the titles they’re giving away, but hey, at least we’re getting some free games, yeah?
I honestly think Games with Gold may die off sometime in the near future, especially as they have so much to offer with Game Pass and the Game Pass Ultimate subscription service. If they’re trying to sell their Xbox Live service as having amazing bonus games to get for free, they have to think a little harder.
For the month of September, however, they do offer up some various genres of games for gamers to explore, such as the online-only action role-playing game The Division. Perhaps it’ll bring back players to populate this online-only game, but with The Division 2 having been released for over a year, I think you’d be finding a lot of people over there. Give it a go and see if it’s your thing before you hand over some money for its sequel!
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is a comedy point-and-click adventure game from 2014; a stark contrast to its Xbox One Games with Gold buddy. De Blob 2 is a puzzle-platformer from 2011; a sequel to the 2008 Wii title, and Armed and Dangerous is a 2003 original Xbox, first-person shooter title with a tongue-in-cheek look into other games and forms of media such as Star Wars and Monty Python.
So, if you’re looking for some diversity, September has it!
