Following up on the announcement teaser released earlier this week, Treyarch has shown off a new full-length cinematic trailer and gameplay for Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War, now featuring more CGI ex-presidents than ever before.
The next entry in the lucrative franchise is a direct sequel to 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops set during the Cold War and feature fan-favourite characters Frank Woods, Alex Mason, and Jason Hudson taking down a dangerous Russian operative known as Perseus. The single-player campaign will be based on real-life events and recently de-classified intel, and have branching narrative choices that will affect the ending of the game.
While the specifics of the games’ online multiplayer modes remain a mystery, Zombies will be making a return, though it is not clear if that will include taking on Ronald Reagan himself.
Call of Duty: Black Ops launches November 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with next-gen versions arriving later in the year.
